Thank You for Considering My Candidacy for Town Council

I am deeply honored to be considered for the Town Council. Over the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of serving my hometown of Little Compton—first on the Planning Board and then for two decades on the Town Council. This community holds a special place in my heart, as it is where my parents met in the 1940s during WWII; my father, stationed here, married a local farmer's daughter, and their story became intertwined with the fabric of this town.

Personal Background

Currently, my wife Nancy Fontaine and I reside on the Palmer farm, embracing our ties to the land that has shaped our lives. Professionally, I have been an electrician and the owner-operator of Lamplighter Inc. for the past 34 years. This career has instilled in me a strong work ethic and a pragmatic approach to addressing challenges.

Military Service

Having served in both the Air Force and Coast Guard, I carry with me the values of duty, discipline, and commitment to service. These principles have been foundational throughout my military and public service careers.

Commitment to Little Compton

My commitment to Little Compton's rural character is unwavering. As a fiscal conservative, I aim to continue serving the people of our town by responsibly managing our resources and advocating for sustainable growth. I believe in transparency and accountability in governance, ensuring that decisions benefit the entire community.

Conclusion

I am eager to continue contributing to the well-being and prosperity of Little Compton. With your support, I am committed to preserving our town's unique heritage while fostering a vibrant and inclusive community for all residents.
