She is a graduate of the Wilbur & McMahon School, Portsmouth High School and the Carroll School of Management, Boston College. She and her husband Steven, have raised seven children in town, where she actively participated in Little League, C.Y.O, Parent Student Teacher (PST) Association, throughout the years. A parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church, she taught religious education and helped run C.Y.O for many years, and has been an active member of the Respect Life Committee in her parish. food bank, and helped each season to assemble Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets for those in need. Currently, Maureen serves on the Board of Directors for the
Little Compton Historical Society. Known as “Nini”, she loves spending time with her 5 grandchildren who are growing up in Little Compton as well. Since 1984, Maureen has worked for their family-run business and is the office manager for Rego Earthworks, Inc. responsible for record and bookkeeping, customer relations, account payables/ receivables, payroll and USDOT compliancy. I have been a resident of Little Compton for the past 23 years along with my wife Karen and our two daughters Julia and Liliana.
I am the Vice President and part owner of a successful manufacturing company in Somerset, MA, and have over 40 years of problem-solving and managerial experience.
When my daughters were enrolled in Wilbur McMahon K-8 School, I decided to run for the Little Compton School Committee where I served for four years. I had the opportunity to make decisions that benefited our town and its educational program. I was part of the team that negotiated a ten-year contract for our students to go to Portsmouth High School – one of the lowest cost-per-student contracts negotiated within the state. I was also on the team that led the school renovation project.
In 2021 I was appointed to the Little Compton Planning Board where I have been serving for the past year and a half. During this time, I have had the pleasure of working with the board and our community to ensure the continued compliance of Little Compton’s Comprehensive Plan to protect the character of our town.
With inflation and higher prices on goods and gasoline, we are most fortunate in Little Compton that we are not burdened by high property taxes like our neighboring towns. I am fiscally conservative, so a vote for me will ensure that I do everything in my power to continue this trend.
I ask that you entrust me with your vote. I will use my experience to help maintain the quality of life that we have all enjoyed in Little Compton: our small-knit community, open space, low taxes, and a Town Council that welcomes input from its residents.
